I was asked to make a custom Kokeshi doll pincushion (above) and while I was at it, I made up a batch.

Don't they look cute together? I like to make them in batches simply to take group shots! I am working on a Kokeshi doll pillow cover thanks to a recent suggestion from Michele. I also have panels of goldfish kissing through adjacent bags in the works thanks to a bit of inspiration from KT. I have the bags printed and now have to try my hand at sketching kissing goldfish!
Wow!! These are gorgeous! You are so talented!!!!!!
ReplyDeletei love your kokeshi dolls! their hairstyles and expressions are so great.
ReplyDeleteYour work is just so fabulous, Amy. I'm very happy for you that your Etsy store is doing so well! The pin cushions are to die for and honestly, kissing gold fish? They will be so adorable!
ReplyDeleteThe group shots are fun for sure and make it even more difficult to choose a favorite. They are all so excellent!
ReplyDeleteThey looks so great! Can't wait to meet mine in person :-)
ReplyDeleteHow do you communicate high pitched squealing and jumping up and down?!? I cant wait to see the fish!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love those pin cushions too!
They are so adorable!
ReplyDeleteVery sweet!
ReplyDeleteHow satisfying to take fun "group photos" after all that work! I especially like the one in the pink dress, and the floral print you paired with it works perfectly!
