This may be the most unusual of Christmas designs but I know that my partner for Potholder Pass 5 really loved my Scrappy Mug Rug with leap frogging frogs. I decided to turn them into Christmas frogs by going with red and green for her terribly non traditional set of holiday potholders!

I did use Christmas fabrics at least! See the snowflakes in the pinwheels? And the binding is from the Twelve Days fabric collection.
I like those!! Those are way cute!! I like the untradtional look. That makes Christmas even more special.
ReplyDeleteThese are just perfect. Love the colours and the frogs also (although I'm not a frog fan ;) ).
ReplyDeletevery cute Amy! It's a good mix there. Your partner will love them!
ReplyDeleteI love that they are for the holidays but not totally in your face Christmassy - very cool Amy!
ReplyDeleteThey look great and can be used all year through, not only at Christmas time! Another perfect gift!
ReplyDeleteI'm loving these! I've always like non-traditional stuff. :-)
ReplyDeleteAmy! A froggy Christmas eh? I think you are onto something here... a whole new amphibious angle! I love it, it's innovative!
ReplyDeleteI like your Christmas frog! may it is a French thing...frog goes with everything! and there are quite a few frog ornaments, even before the popularity of the princess and the frog!
ReplyDeleteThose are totally adorable!!! the quilting is perfect and pops those potholders!!!
ReplyDeleteChristmas frogs are a sweet, sweet, clever idea. I really like that binding fabric!
ReplyDeleteAmy, these are great! I love the pinwheel and the froggy! The quilting really gives the potholders depth. Nice job!
