Snowflake Linocut Coasters

There is no doubt about it. I went overboard (or over the board as my kids say) taking pictures of this coaster set.

But I am sharing all the pictures anyway because I had fun taking them and perhaps someone will enjoy looking at them! It's just so much fun to take pictures of groups of items.

I've never made fabric coasters before but wanted to give it a go with my Snowflake linocut because it seems to be just about the perfect size, 4" x 5".

Again, I went slightly crazy and freemotion quilted around each bit of the snowflake.

And tied the set up with a bow! I just put my label on one so as not to go too label heavy on the set.

  8. That blue is yummy - I like it! Lots of photos is a good thing, always enjoyable. Your free motion quilting is excellent. I'd be quite a happy camper if I could manage that as nicely as you do.
