Giveaway Winner!

I used the Random Number Generator to pick a winner for my Quilting Process Mini Quilt Kit. Our Busy Little Bunch, you are the winner of a custom printed silk screen panel and pattern that you can use to make a mini quilt like the one pictured above. I will send you an email and be waiting for your color selections! If you are sad that you didn't win, there are a few preprinted panels left in my shop as well as a custom option!

You might recall that my giveaway was prompted by my winning a giveaway on Krista's blog. I won a kit to make an adorable little Santa from Happy Sew Lucky. Not one to waste time, I already made my Santa! Here he is.

And here too! I couldn't decide which picture was cuter. I have never sewn from a kit before but found that the directions were very easy to follow. I would suggest that a beginning sewer stick with some of the simpler shaped patterns that don't have arms and legs. There are some cute ones like the Birds and Babushkas. Turning the arms and legs and stuffing them was definitely the trickiest part. However, the pattern had great tips to help you do that and included a straw and turning stick. It's certainly doable. It just takes patience! The material is of excellent quality, as is the printing. I had plenty of stuffing and even excess. I have only good things to say about it! This Santa measures just under a foot tall. My kids love him and are happy that he is going to take a place among our Christmas decorations this year!
