I wasn't going to post a mosaic but everyone is doing it! I can't be left out now can I? This is a sampling of some of my favorite creations from 2010.
Looking back on 2010, what amazes me the most however, are my children and their growth. Collectively, over the past year, 14 new teeth came in, 2 teeth were lost, 26 pounds were gained and 10 1/2" were sprouted. Penny took her first steps and spoke her first words. Lily started writing letters and showing amazing artistic skills. She has also matured emotionally and has become the world's best sharer. And Timothy is reading, telling time, counting out change, and proving to be a friend to all at school. Parenting is certainly challenging but it definitely brings me the greatest joy. The stuff in the mosaic is icing on the cake!
Happy New Year my friends.

  1. You've made such beautiful things this year :)

And what a great way to look back on the year. It's been one of those weeks where I've felt a bit defeated as a parent. I bet looking back at all that has been accomplished in my family will brighten things up a bit.

Happy New Year to you! I'm really excited to see what you make this coming year.

  2. Every step is an accomplishment especially for a parent. You will cherish every moment, and every memory when you get as old as me. I can remember those inches, lost and found teeth (LOL) and pounds gained.....although now it seems the pounds gained are mine. LOL Do your best and that's all you can expect.....it looks and sounds like you have been doing exactly that. Blessings to you in 2011!

  6. Except for the teeth and weight gain, I can see that your children take after you in every other way! It's been wonderful sharing your amazing accomplishments over the past year. Thank you so much for all of your work on the Potholder passes and pin cushion swap - great job!! I got to meet so many nice people. Enjoy the last couple days of holiday and best wishes for an equally exciting and productive 2011!

  7. I loved reading about the progress of your children. It's amazing isn't it when you actually look back and note how they have changed and wonder at what they have achieved. And I am following your advice, I will finish them and put them away, thanks.
