I really wanted to join the Scrappy {Hoops} Swap on Flickr but decided not to for fear of over committing near the holidays. But I have since had the idea of making a hoop stuck in my head! I just finished up the one above. I wanted to make one similar to the mug rug that I sent away.
This was the mug rug I made for my partner in the Scrappy Mug Rug Swap.
I hung my new quilted hoop next to my mini quilt from Krista since they both have Christmas bunting. Cute! I'm ready for the next hoop swap now!
I just adore that little hedgie! And the Christmas bunting is very cute as well. Nice job! And you get to keep it since it wasn't part of the swap. :-)
ReplyDeleteThe hoop is really cool...when I first glanced at it I thought you had used a piece of sweater and appliqued the stuff on....which could be neat too!:)
ReplyDeleteAnother thing great about that little hoop...it really could stay out all year long!
Also...where do you find the time to do all this sewing?:)
These are SO adorable!! I love the mug rug!
ReplyDeleteSo perfect! Yes, please join the next hoop swap - it was a great one.
ReplyDeleteSo cute!!!!
ReplyDeletegorgeous, love it.
ReplyDeleteThat is the most adorable thing I have ever seen!
ReplyDeleteLove it!
The whole idea is awesome mate! Well done! I am so glad you have made something for yourself!!!
Awe, they're so cute! I love it!
ReplyDeleteVery sweet design this one! That hedgie is a cutie! Sometimes I think you are giving your children alternate identities in these pieces. One little one is the hedgie and another is the bird...
ReplyDeleteNew follower who just wanted to convey..you do good my dear heart... followed you from Mamacjt...I will certainly be back..your creations are over the top exciting...
ReplyDeleteI'm the same way, I can't be sure I can finish swaps or other things so close to holidays either but the Christmas hoop, what a treasure.
ReplyDeletethese are so adorable!
