When I finished my Lady of the Lake quilt, I had a lot of yellow and grey materials left over and didn't feel quite ready to put them all away yet. So I made more 2" half square triangles! I just love zigzags. I find them so happy and timeless.
My finished pillow is 16" and bound in the same white and grey houndstooth that I used on my quilt.
The backing is Meadowsweet 2 Happy Butterfly.
I have been having such a hard time taking pictures lately with the sun so low in the sky and due to all the snowstorms we have been having. I thought that this pillow would look nice against the big granite entrance to a cemetery down the road. I took the kids over there to snap a quick picture but my plan didn't quite work when the banks of snow around the gate were about 8 feet tall! I had my son scurry up them and place the pillow for these shots at least. He thought it was a grand adventure.
