Mini QT 3D Received

I received my mini quilt from the Mini QT swap! The theme was 3D and my partner was the swap mama, and my blogging pal, Dolores. I am mighty flattered that she chose me as her partner. She claims that she was inspired by these birds that I made at Christmas time but I don't think she required any inspiration. Isn't her idea clever? The tree has tiny red jingle bell apples, the tiniest of baskets is spilled over on the ground, there are bead butterflies and flowers, and the wee felt birds are hanging from clear fishing line from the apples on the tree. This means that I can play and move the birds around from time to time and see if the kids notice! I love the tiny bits of fabrics that she used to piece the sun and the upper portion of the sky and the ground. Her quilting is perfect and the embroidery is such a nice touch.

Dolores also spoiled me with these gifts! I love the fabrics and trim and already used some post it notes just last night to label my Kona!
Thank you Dolores!
