Remaining Brave

I've been working on turning more Innocent Crush/Kona solid pairs into double hourglass quilt blocks. I am still nervous about putting them all together.

But I am encouraged by the pretty little groupings they can make.

One of my blogging friends told me to continue being brave and see where it leads.

I am doing that and have about 30 blocks now. This could be quite the large quilt if I use all the blocks. It also gives me a little leeway where I could take out a number of blocks from one color family and throw them onto the back.

At very least, I am enjoying the process of putting these blocks together.

I have a few more blocks to make and then I plan to play with layouts.

  1. I think it's going to be fantastic! You have really paired up the prints and solids perfectly. I also think it's great that you're a little bit more out of your comfort zone with the fabrics than you'd like to be. That's a good sign!
