Satisfying

In the middle of a week spent taking care of sick kids, it was satisfying to make this gift last night. It was started and completed. Somedays you just need a project like that.

Of course it is a Gathered Clutch, thanks to Noodlehead's fine tutorial.
It's a gift for my mom who officially retired yesterday though she is still working as a contractor so it is sort of a partial retirement. I skipped the credit card pockets inside because I think she is more likely to use it as a pouch for cosmetics or something like that. I used Evening Mist by Sentimental Studios for Moda for the exterior and the lining, a honey/mustard linen for the band, and variegated plum thread.
