I got sucked into Penny's Yoyo Along. I have no expectation of being able to keep up with her pace of 7 yoyos a day. In fact, I am already behind. I have a sum total of 6. I just started yesterday and plan to make them here and there when watching movies or away from the house due to summer activities. Yoyos aren't just for old ladies right??? Please agree.
Haha! Your yoyos are very pretty! I like all of those colors. They look cheery!
ReplyDeleteYou're so funny! I think yoyos are fine for anybody crazy enough to make enough of them to be able to do something with them! ;) Do you have plans for their use or are you waiting for inspiration?
ReplyDeleteNo! I love yo-yos!
ReplyDeleteBut, I'm doing the farmer's wife one. But your yo yos make it looks so tempting!
These are really cute, especially in these fabrics. I'm still trying to work on hexies so I'll have to pass on the yoyo's.
ReplyDeletethanks for sharing this yoyo along...I will join but need to get the yoyo maker...and your yoyos are lovely!
ReplyDeleteI think yo-yos are great! I even bought this little plastic yo-yo maker that I am convinced actually makes it more difficult...
ReplyDeleteYo-yos are not for old ladies! I'm 23 and I love them!!
ReplyDeleteLOve the colors you picked!
ReplyDeleteNo way! My daughter likes them as well... at least the way they look.
ReplyDeleteThese look marvelous....just one thing...how in the heck do you get the plastic thingy out?:)
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited that you're joining in, Amy! I love the fabrics you're using!
ReplyDeleteNot when you use cute fabrics like those!!
ReplyDeleteI think yo-yo's are ageless! I am 51, but I have loved them since I was a teenager!! Don't worry about goals/dead lines...just work at your own pace...after all, they are YOUR yo-yo's!

Yoyos are for everyone!!! And yours are sweet and lovely!
ReplyDeleteI started the other day and I'm behind also, but I'm having fun!
ReplyDeleteI can't believe I found you! I made a bright contemporary yoyo quilt for my niece two years ago and I love yoyo's. I started making more while I watched TV just because I needed something to do. I joined your yoyo along. The confusedquilter did my story, then I was encouraged to start my own blog so I did. Will look forward to seeing all the yoyo quilts. I'm so excited!
