Winterkist
I do love a happy mail day and I had one this week. I received Kerry's block for my month of the Cocorico bee. And I also got this little stack of Winterkist by Monica Solorio-Snow of Happy Zombie. It was sent to me by Lynne and I am going to be using it to write a tutorial for Fat Quarterly. I am in the process of deciding what to make. What would you like to see? Thoughts? It's not your typical Christmas fabric so it seems to call for not your typical Christmas project. (The colors are better in person. My camera was not cooperating with me here--not for lack of trying, repeatedly.)

Okay, those are really cool and fun fabrics. I haven't seen them before! Hmmm....what do I want to see with them? You are right, they deserve a special project. Those sort of look like trolls. I'm trying to think of something troll related. Some sort of Christmas garden theme? What, with all your other gardening blocks, that would be kind of cool.
ReplyDeleteMe suena algo musical, hay melodía en esos diseños .Cariños.
ReplyDeleteAck, I wish mine would get here already! I've got a yoyo project in mind and it used all of my brain cells to dream that one up, so unfortunately I haven't got anymore ideas for you!
ReplyDeleteOoh, I love the colours you got! I'm kind of envisaging that wee elf face peeking out from behind something, but that's all I got, sorry!

ReplyDeleteI think of the northern lights and the gnome that paints them in the sky
ReplyDeleteThose colors are great...if I made something from that it would stay out from Dec 1-Jan 31!:) Maybe a little mini that highlights the gnome with three pockets on the bottom and you can put a special surprise in the pockets for the kids once a week?:)
