Sew Me A Song Giveaway!


I love a good giveaway, don't you?  Becca from Sew Me A Song, asked if I would like to host a giveaway for her and the best part of it was that I got to put together the bundle!  



Becca will also be listing this bundle in her shop on Monday morning if you want to snatch one before they are gone.

    We don't really celebrate Halloween much here in Norway, so I'll go for the dinner idea:-) My husband is a hunter, so I would make moose roast with baked vegetables and mashed potatoes. That makes autumn a great time of year for me!

    Halloween is not big here so no spooky costumes for me, but I did just make my son a Peter Pan costume for the Book Week parade at school last week. My daughter has put in her order for Tinkerbell when she gets to big school for her first parade :)

  22. My favourite meal in the fall/autumn is leak and potato soup with homemade croutons and with the main course I make sweet potato french fries on a baking sheet with paprika and garlic salt and a tiny bit of oil. Yum!! Super giveaway!!

  25. I love your combos! No costumes for me this year, my kids are grown and no grandchildren yet...but I do have a favorite fall recipe. It's from my sister-in-law and is called Zucchini Stew, with zucchini, Italian sausage, tomatoes, and any other fall veggies you may have...YUM!

  51. My son and his friend are dressing up as The Blues Brothers for Halloween---I will buy some black jackets at a thrift store, so I'm not required to sew much. However, my daughter wants to be Rosie the Riveter and I'll make her costume.

  56. Oh gosh I haven't even thought about halloween properly yet! I'll have to get my thinking cap on soon for what I can make my toddler :) Last year around this sort of time Covent Garden Soups did an amazing butternut squash soup. I ate that with crunchy baguette for lunch for weeks! Hope they do it again this year!

  69. My halloween costume will be pyjamas by the fire! It is not something we celebrate here, and even so my babies are far too big to need costumes! And luckily bonfire night doesn't need fancy dress.

    I really love the choice of fabrics - would be good for a trendy boy quilt I think.

  84. A favorite family dinner is to cook stew inside a hollowed out pumpkin. You bake the pumpkin in the oven for about an hour with the stew inside. It is yummy and so attractive on the table. A fun idea for fall :-)

  103. We don't really get into the whole Halloween thing in England like you do in the US - although in recent years the supermarkets stock a bit more stuff. Favourite fall food? Maybe a simple Chilli Con Carne or baked spuds with lots of cheddar cheese on top.
