Following the tragedy that occurred here in the United States on Friday, it doesn't seem right to just continue blogging as usual. Crafting is my therapy so I made this bunting, spelling out a word that I think is so important every Christmas season, but particularly so this year. Hope. I just sent my children off on the bus with a lot of hope in my heart. Hope for their safety. Hope that they will help change the world for the better one day. Hope that we can make the world a better place for them. Hope that the families who are missing their loved ones can find healing and peace.

I agree. It is difficult to think of anything except those little ones, their families, and the families and souls of those who died trying to protect them.
ReplyDeleteA lovely sentiment.
ReplyDeleteI hope so too Amy!

ReplyDeleteI just sent off my girls to school this morning and I totally agree with you. And your bunting is so lovely, as with all of your other creations...!
ReplyDeleteAmy I just love your 'Hope' bunting and hope and pray that something like like this tragedy never ever happens again.

This is lovely Amy and a perfect creation for this time we live in. Hope leads us on and this bunting is a reminder of that.
ReplyDeleteMy heart is sore at the thought of those beautiful babies and the people who tried so bravely to protect them.
Blessings to you and your lovely family for Christmas and the New Year.
This is just lovely. I agree with dolores up above.
ReplyDeleteIt's lovely. You know, I was so busy I didn't have time to blog, and frankly when that happened, I just didn't feel like doing it, either. Thanks for sharing. Here's hoping you and your family are safe and happy.
