I've been wanting to make an Easter paper pieced pattern for awhile now. I finally found the time to do it this week! Let me introduce my Chocolate Bunny, complete with a satin ribbon around his neck.
I used Quilters Linen in Chocolate for the bunny (appropriate right?), Shaded Cotton by Riley Blake for the ribbon, and BasicGrey Kissing Booth Creme Brulee Sweet Nothings for the background.
I should have the pattern ready late in the day tomorrow or on Thursday.
I'm still trying to decide what to make with my block. I might make a pillow to replace my winter themed pillows.

How very perfect!
ReplyDeleteSo very sweet! and with the patterned background it hardly looks paper pieced. I thought it was appliqued.
ReplyDeleteHi!!! Such a sweet little bunny!!!
ReplyDeleteAdorable Amy!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is super cute!
ReplyDeleteYou've picked the perfect background fabric to make the chocolate bunny shine. A pillow would look great. How big is the block? I think it would be wonderful on a tote bag used for collecting plastic eggs on the easter hunt.
ReplyDeleteSo SWEET!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful background fabric! And the bunny looks yummy :)
ReplyDeleteOh my god! When I first looked at it I thought "why paper-pieced?!" It really seems appliqued. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThat is incredible Amy, go girl!
ReplyDeleteNow that is adorable.
ReplyDeleteSeriously, you're killing me! This is so beyond cute!!
ReplyDeletelove this!
ReplyDeleteTotally cute!
ReplyDeleteGreat paper pieced design Amy! I agree with others who have said it looks appliqued which is a testament to your pp design abilities. I could see a rabble of these little fellows in a table topper for easter sunday brunch!
ReplyDeleteThat's really neat. So clever. You are really good!
ReplyDeleteEveryone who has seen the block I made from this pattern is amazed.
ReplyDeleteI love the way your pattern is drawn out. Your a fabulous pattern designer !
